Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. ~ Ephesians 6:10-11
Day 10 What feelings do you experience as you step outside your comfort zone into this new adventure?
I set off pretty grounded and prepared to stand in my truth. I feel fearless, safe and protective of those who are being undermined by people in power who use gaslighting techniques to distort the truth.
The Emperor is the energy of Aries and corresponds well with the 2 of Wands (Mars in Aries) ‘hairy crone balls’ post from the other day 🙂
In the Tarot Decoratif, the Emperor is looking to the left / past. He is not happy with what has happened and is going to put it right. Watch out, world!
Day 11 Describe the first trial
“Playing the victim role: Manipulator portrays him- or herself as a victim of circumstance or of someone else’s behavior in order to gain pity, sympathy or evoke compassion and thereby get something from another. Caring and conscientious people cannot stand to see anyone suffering and the manipulator often finds it easy to play on sympathy to get cooperation.”
― George K. Simon Jr.
I think I have described the first trial pretty well here.
The 7 of Cups is a great card to represent gaslighting. Traditionally, the 7 of Cups is associated with confusion. Gaslighting is twisting the facts to that the perpetrator comes out as the one worthy of sympathy or pity or at least causes enough confusion about who is to blame so that there can be no accountability.
I love how well synchronized this post is with what is actually happening now on my quest to be of service to the Divine Feminine!
